I’ve been wanting to write a blog for a few days now and just wasn’t sure what to write about. Then it dawned on me as we are mid way through week 7 of our training.
I know some of us are starting to get aches and pains from our training regiment. If you are having these aches and pains please seek out help from the great services and people that are provided to us through this program.
We have some great resources at our fingers tips so please use them. Also keep in mind that if you are feeling discomfort and not excruciating pain, but enough not to run. You can still get out and do a brisk walk to keep the momentum going. Go to Goodlife and do the running time on a bike instead. There are many things that can be done if not a run to keep you moving and help with those minor discomforts before they become too painful and troublesome.
I have utilized the bikes at Goodlife quite a bit to help with knee, shin and calf pain since I began running back in 2017.
Stay ahead of the major aches and pains, listen to your body and seek the help of those who can keep you on track.
P.S. Race day is just 65 days away, time is flying by and look at all the fun we are having.
