Last night was my second hills night. This is where you really find where you are in your training. For me, I am a little behind the pack. I kept moving but it was hard to watch everyone else do so well.
Thankfully, there are a few in the group that really notice when someone is struggling and take the time to slow down and chat. It makes such a difference to have a group that is working together to the same goal.
I started the run like I started this program, worried and scared. I ended the run feeling okay about my peraonal progress. I will get to where I need to be and I will crush that 10km course in May.
Oh and FYI Hills hurt…. but this morning I feel great!!
