About Jody Miller
My journey into a healthy lifestyle started in 2014 when I decided at 280 lbs I was tired of watching my life pass me by and in May 2015 I was down 70 lbs and running my first 5k.
I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Team Myles 2016 member and with the support of our amazing coaches, mentors and fellow runners I went from struggling to run a 5k to running my first 10k and doing it continuous. I found a sense of confidence I didn't know I had, lifelong friendships and a love of the sport. After the Bluenose I went on to run five more 10ks, nine 5ks and I’ll start training for my first half marathon this summer.
This past year has been full of change for me both positive and negative but I continue to reach for my goals and i'm excited to help others do the same. I’ve seen firsthand how this team can change you in ways you don’t expect and I’m so excited to be involved with Team Myles 2017 as a mentor.
