Tonight was our Team Myles Graduation of the Class of 2015. It is with a strong sense of pride that brings me to the conclusion of this amazing adventure. As our Coach, Devin said on night one, we came together as individuals, but finished as a Team and looking around the room tonight, I can say that is definitely true. Tonight we celebrated our success, and we reflected on each other’s accomplishments. As I look back, it is with great fondness that I remember night one – Citadel Hill – and thought it was absolute madness that I was expected to do this. But, I had a Coach who made it seem all right, and dedicated Mentors who assured me that it was indeed possible. The weeks rolled by through the most brutal of winters, and we all persevered. We were supported the entire way through – by our Sponsors, Coach, Mentors, and the Blue Nose Marathon Organizers. Thank-you to each and every one of you. There aren’t enough words to describe this life-changing experience. I have made lifelong friends who share a common bond. Because of my experience with Team Myles – I now BELIEVE that I can do anything that I set my mind to doing. My wish is for everyone to experience this. Take a chance, dive in, train hard, and giv’er!
PS. One thing hasn’t changed for me, I’m still #allaboutthebling!!
