Hi
I’m a native Haligonian, as was my father and his mother, and her father. I lived away for close to 30 years and came home 3 years ago to work at NovaScotian Crystal. My training is as a horticulturist, and I’ve worked in retail environments of different types for most of my working life. I love people and meeting new people. My passion is helping people and that has evolved into a life in the retail business. I have one beautiful daughter, who lives and works in the Valley, and my Dad and brothers are scattered around NS, with one brother in Toronto. I’ve never been a fitness junkie, but have spent a lot of time gardening, loading bales of peat moss into people’s cars for them, moving inventory around, walking, and I love the outdoors. I’ve taken Pilates classes over the past 5 years. this is my first time running, and my first weblog.
