Up’s and Down’s

This week has been a roller coaster!! On Wednesday I unfortunately had plans in the evening and I knew would miss hills training. So Myself and Sean decided we would make our own hills night! We got out early around 5pm (so we could make it to our dinner plans in time), headed to the nearest hill by our house and did some intervals of running/walking. It rained, I felt horrible, I almost cried.. but I did another freakin hills night and it still sucks. On Sunday’s group run.. I did something I thought I would never do… I reached 1okm! It felt amazing!! I never thought I would be able to say I can run 10km.  We did a new route and the bridge was TOUGH. I learned that I need to focus more on those dreaded hills and pacing myself evenly throughout the run. I love that we are tackling some of the race route now as a team and we are able to prepare. It is less than a month til the Blue Nose and I can’t wait! I’m ready to focus and finish the last few weeks strong. ❤️
