New Sense of Pride

We are over half way through week 5 and what these new ambassadors have accomplished in these short weeks is beyond me.  I thought we had a great group last year which we did…not taking nothing away from Team Myles 2017.  But being on the other side of he coin sort of speak this year as a mentor it amazes me what they have done.

Witnessing their progress and being there to be a part of their first, first time to run around the top of Citadel Hill, first time to reach, 3k, 4k, 5k and first time running for 20 minutes plus non stop. It gives me such pride to be there and I feel so fortunate to be able to be on this journey with each and everyone of them.

This year  is even a little extra special for me, my niece is a part of the team and watching her succeed and enjoying this means so much to me. It is a running joke in our family that she is so much like me in regards to our actions, speech and ability to stay up around the clock to watch TV.  So to also have running in common with her as well is just an added bonus.  Jessica Mauger be warned I will not let you give this up once this journey is over.  So not only do I get to witness some amazing people that I just recently met take on this challenge and kick it in the butt, I get to see her do it as well.  Just want to say that you are all doing extremely well and I am so very proud of each and everyone of you. You Got This #TeamMyles2018

Extra shout out to my POD Becky White, Cindy Haines, Jocelyn Hiltz and Stephanie Lynn.  You guys are awesome and I have nothing but the utmost respect for each and everyone of you,
