I Love Running

I love running. And I’m not saying it because I have to. I honestly love it. I love the feeling of running up the mountain(you can call it a hill if you want but to me it’s a mountain). I love the high fives at the top. I love the team. I love the cheering. I love it all.
This time is so different from
all my other attempts. I want it. I love it. I am thriving on it. I am not dragging my heels, I’m not putting off running or cross training. I’m looking forward to it all.
When this journey first started I did not think I would be where I am today a few short weeks later. As I attempted to run a minute then two minites te following week I did not think I would ever get to three, four, five minutes. Today I ran 7 minutes staight 5 times. I did that. And I enjoyed it. It felt good. It felt right.
Afterwards I didn’t die. I didn’t collapse. I went and did an hour and half of yoga.
Honestly I am not sure who this person I am becoming is but I am loving her. I am stronger. I am happier. I am loving life and running. Even hot sweaty yoga.
