This week has been full of ups and downs and none of them involved hills! Tuesday morning was fantastic i killed 2 goals at once by hitting a 40lb weight loss and getting in to the 170’s! Then tuesday night was the truro run and it was definitely down hill for me. I dont want to discredit the fact that i finished, i was just really disappointed that each run seems to be getting worse rather than better. I have lots of excuses, i was feeling sick, my leg cramped up and wouldnt stop, but still i was disappointed in myself. Running on a treadmill is not the same as hitting the pavement and i clearly set my expectations for myself to high.
Im not giving up though,i started back to the gym this week thanks to this training program and am thrilled to be back to weights. I love weights, the muscle pain from heavey lifting (although im not lifting so heavey right now) is a pure rush for me! I missed the gym, i exercise at home because a membership is not in our budget, but i dont have the weight i like. I will be taking full advantage of Goodlife while i can!
So here’s to the rest of the week and battling my way back up hill. Next goals are to get in the 160’s, hit that 50lb mark AND beat the pavement!!!!
