Listen To Leanne and Listen to Your Body

Listen learned the hard way for me, since doing the hills training on Thursday my knees have been causing me some problems.  But instead of listening to my body and taking it easy for a couple of days or even taking a day off I didn’t.  So yesterday I finished the run not like I would of wanted to.  By the end I could barely walk and hiding the actual amount of pain I was in.

I followed Leanne’s instruction yesterday with letting my body get back to normal temperature once home and then applied ice to my knees. Did some extra stretches to help relax my muscles.  Although feeling much better today I think I will take today as my rest day for this week and a lesson well learned.
