I want a re-do of Hill Night #2
I have been sick for the past couple days and can barely walk without coughing. Needless to say, Hill Night #2 was brutal for me tonight. This time, we alternated between running 30 seconds and walking 30 seconds in a loop up and down the hill for 14 minutes. It might not sound like a long time, but it felt like forever. With being sick, I kept trying to breathe properly while running without coughing. I had to walk through the running part a couple times so I could avoid a coughing fit. It was so frustrating for me tonight. Let’s just say that I’m very glad I had sunglasses on so people couldn’t see the tears in my eyes. I want a re-do of tonight when I’m not sick. The one positive is that I’m glad I went. Even though I was sick and couldn’t run full out, I still made it up the hill a few times.
Next week HAS to be better than tonight was. No, it WILL be better than tonight was.
Carlee you are Amazing!!! You inspire me everyday. Next week will be a breeze for you as you were deathly ill doing those laps up and down the hill. That’s dedication !!!!!!
Carlee – sometimes life gets in the way of our plans – you did great. The fact that you showed up feeling crapping speaking volumes about your commitment and dedication. Don’t get down on yourself for walking a bit – you’re still a runner! It was a rough night with the cold wind and breathing was a challenge before we started running – congratulations to you on tonight’ achievement! One step closer to many more. #keeponrunning
