As we approach the 6 week countdown to the #BlueNose2015 event weekend, I’m feeling more and more confident that I CAN actually run 10K! Last year when I finished the 5K, I felt amazing but knew that, at that time, I could never have run twice that distance (and live to tell the tale). But now I know I’ll be able to do it – I won’t be breaking any world records but I’ll finish. Like my bio says “I’m a completer, not a competer”.
Yesterday, a few #TeamMyles members attended yoga at Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio. We were greeted warmly, given a new yoga mat (amazing!) and a water bottle, which will definitely come in handy on our next long run. Our instructor, Andrea, was great and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We all have varying experience with yoga so she provided suggestions if we wanted an extra challenge. It was definitely a great way to kick off the long weekend and I’m more than ready to hit the roads tomorrow with the team for our Saturday run!
