So, I’ve been in Ottawa since Saturday. That means I missed our long run AND I missed #hellhills (pretend I’m sad, I hate hills!haha!). So, in between meetings I grabbed my Brooks sneakers, threw on my gear, and hit the streets to do my own version of hills – Ottawa style!
My hotel, in downtown Ottawa, was the perfect place to find a few hills and some amazing walking spots. I headed down to the Rideau Canal Locks for a few hills, and some sight-seeing rolled into one!
After hills, I headed for a 7k walk around downtown Ottawa to sight-see. I confess, I didn’t get in a long run but I did get in 3 days of lane swimming, my 7k walk, and did a bunch of shopping! (Shopping counts as exercise – there’s some huge store space to cover!)
