Saturday’s run along the Halifax waterfront was awesome. The weather was great, not to cold or to warm. I think I finally got my layers right. After the run I was able to get the dogs to point pleasant park and do a yoga class. I suggest to anyone that runs in the morning to consider an afternoon yoga class. It felt so good to stretch. I could feel my energy coming back to my mind and body. There is one stretch in particular that is really good for runners. It’s called the pigeon pose. I love it, I think I could take a nap in that pose. Also had a great smoothie this morning Strawberries, bananna, spinach, flax seed and soy milk. It was so yummy.
